    Feature:

    High fructose corn syrup is derived from corn starch, which can be decomposed to produce fructose through enzymatic action. Then fructose and glucose are mixed to achieve the desired ratio of the two. High fructose corn syrup is composed of 42% or 55% fructose. The name of high fructose corn syrup makes people mistakenly believe that it has a high fructose content. In fact, the content of fructose is similar to that of sucrose, which is composed of 50% fructose and 50% glucose. The difference between sucrose and high fructose corn syrup lies in their binding bonds. The unique flavor of high fructose corn syrup is used in many different foods and beverages. High fructose corn syrup can not only sweeten foods, but also reduce water activity to inhibit spoilage caused by microorganisms and help extend the shelf life of products. High fructose corn syrup can help baked foods to brown better and improve the texture of these products. High fructose corn syrup also helps to reduce the cost of food production, because it is cheaper than sucrose, so it is often substituted for sucrose in food and beverages.

    High fructose corn syrup has application / function as follows:

    1. Carbon dioxide-filled beverages: High fructose corn syrup can be used partially or completely as a sweetener.

    2. For the basic syrup and flavor concentrate of carbon dioxide-filled beverages, High fructose corn syrup can be used as the sole sweetener; for non-foaming beverages, High fructose corn syrup can be used together with glucose or corn syrup with a high DE value.

    3. In soy sauce, High fructose corn syrup and corn syrup with high DE value can be used.

    4. Flowable and spoonable salad seasonings. High fructose corn syrup can be used alone or combined with other syrups.

    5. Yeast-fermented baked goods: High fructose corn syrup can be used alone or in combination with other corn syrups. High fructose corn syrup can increase fermentation capacity and residual sweetness, and form the brown color of baked goods. Other baked goods that use High fructose corn syrup are pastries, fig pie and cookies.
