Application and Attention of Common Plant Growth Regulators: 4-CPA

Plant growth regulators are artificially synthesized and extracted exogenous substances with physiological activity of plant hormones.

4-CPA (PCPA) is also known as p-chlorophenoxyacetic acid. The dosage forms include water-based agents and soluble powders. Low toxicity to humans and animals.

As an endogenous plant growth regulator, it can be absorbed by roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, with a long duration of biological activity. It has functions such as promoting growth, preventing layer separation, promoting fruit setting, and inducing parthenocarpy.

Note

1. The concentration of pesticide application is related to the temperature. With low temperature please reduce the amount of water. While with the high temperature, please increase the amount of water.

2. This product is sensitive to tender shoots and young leaves of seedlings. When spraying, the concentration should be strictly controlled and repeated spraying is not allowed. Choose to spray in the morning and evening on sunny days to avoid drug damage. If drug damage occurs, strengthen the supply of fertilizer and water.

3. The mixture of anti bacterial agents and 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate has a synergistic effect.
