It can be quickly transmitted to the growth point, causing the upper part of the plant to be deformed, withered, defoliated, and necrotic. The mechanism of action is to inhibit mitochondrial respiration and nucleic acid metabolism. Most gramineous plants are resistant, and most dicotyledonous crops (except cruciferae), weeds, and shrubs are sensitive. It is relatively stable in soil with a half-life of 1-12 months.
