    Ceramide is a kind of phospholipid with ceramide as the skeleton, mainly including ceramide choline phosphate and ceramide ethanolamine phosphate. Phospholipid is the main component of cell membrane. 40% ~ 50% of sebum in stratum corneum is composed of ceramide. Ceramide is the main part of intercellular matrix and plays an important role in maintaining the water balance of stratum corneum. At the same time, ceramide also has the effect of fighting tumor and inflammation for human body.

    Ceramide has the following applications/functions:

    Anti tumor, cardiovascular protection, anti-inflammatory

    1. Ceramide can resist tumor. Different from general drugs, ceramide can directly act on apoptosis signal transduction pathway and cause apoptosis. Therefore, ceramide opens up a new treatment scheme for anti-tumor. Ceramide can be divided into endogenous ceramide and exogenous ceramide. In the process of tumor treatment, we can increase the concentration of intracellular ceramide and induce apoptosis by directly adding exogenous ceramide or promoting the synthesis of endogenous ceramide.

    2. Ceramide can prevent cardiovascular disease. Ceramide plays a significant role in inducing endothelial cell apoptosis.
