And its density is 0.868g/cm3. (Z)-N-(3-aminopropyl)-N’-9-octadecenylpropane-1,3-diamine is soluble in water, ethanol and 2-propanol. (Z)-N-(3-aminopropyl)-N’-9-octadecenylpropane- 1,3-diamine has a wide range of uses. It can be used as a component of formulated products and as an intermediate product of various special chemical derivatives. It is an important raw material for the production of quaternary ammonium salts. It has the advantages of corrosion/corrosion inhibition, dispersion, emulsification, hydrophobization and sterilization. Contact with it may irritate skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It may be toxic if ingested, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. (Z)- N- (3-aminopropyl)-N’-9-octadecenylpropane-1,3-diamine is used in the manufacture of other chemicals.

(Z)-N-(3-aminopropyl)-N’-9-octadecenylpropane-1,3-diamine has the following applications/ functions:

1. (Z)- N- (3-aminopropyl)- N’- 9- octadecenylpropane- 1,3-diamine is mainly used as a bactericide and has excellent spectral bactericidal properties. It has good compatibility and can be compounded with various surfactants. It is mainly used in medical, animal husbandry, food industry, paper industry, and water treatment industry.

2. (Z)- N- (3-aminopropyl)- N’- 9- octadecenylpropane- 1,3-diamine can also be used as anti-mildew products and used in wood preservation. In the daily chemical industry, it can be used as an acaricide and has a strong acaricidal effect.

3. (Z)- N- (3-aminopropyl)- N’- 9- octadecenylpropane- 1,3-diamine  is mainly used as an organic pigment additive, and used as a dispersant in the pigment.
