N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines is a long-chain aliphatic amine, which is a large class of organic amine compounds with carbon chain lengths in the range of C8-C22. N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra- amines has a slight ammonia odor, it is insoluble in water, but it is soluble in many organic solvents. It is less dense than water and therefore it floats on the surface. N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines is an organic base compound that reacts with acids to form salts, and it also reacts with CO2 in the air. 2. N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor. In a corrosive environment (aqueous solution containing corrosive medium, acidic solution, alkaline solution, organic solution), adding a small amount of N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines can reduce or completely prevent the corrosion of metals (black and colored).
3. N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines can improve the surface tension between various constituent phases in the emulsion to form a uniform dispersion or emulsion, so it can be used as an emulsifier.
4. N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines has fixed hydrophilic and lipophilic groups, which can be oriented on the surface of the solution. It can significantly reduce the surface tension of the target solution. So N-Tallow alkyltripropylenetetra-amines can also be used as a surfactant.
